Company history
Candace King Weir founded the firm in Albany in 1972 as an equity research boutique for institutional investors, and it has been 100% women-owned since its founding. It began managing money for high-net-worth clients in 1984, and Weir founded the separate Paradigm Capital Management in 1994. The firm has since grown into a full-service investment bank and broker-dealer active in equity and fixed income underwriting, sales and trading.
