Company history
Peter Sidoti, a former healthcare analyst at Value Line, Drexel Burnham Lambert and NatWest Markets who later ran emerging-growth research at Schroders, founded the firm in 1999 to cover companies outside the S&P 500. It introduced a Company Sponsored Research program in 2016 and launched Lighthouse Equity Research in 2024 for companies hard to value on traditional metrics. Its affiliate Sidoti Events hosted eight virtual conferences a year as of 2025.
