Company history
Richard Rappaport founded WestPark Capital in Los Angeles in 1999. The firm built its business on public offerings and private placements for small and emerging-growth companies, marketing a share-exchange listing product called the WRASP by 2010 and later its Structured IPO (SIPO), a private placement followed by an IPO. Based in Century City, it runs investment banking, brokerage, institutional sales and trading, and equity research.
