Produces tungsten concentrates from mines in Portugal and South Korea, with tin and copper by-products at Panasqueira, and sells mainly under supply agreements. Revenue is currently concentrated at Panasqueira while Sangdong ramps and planned projects aim to extend processing downstream.
Mines and processes tungsten in Portugal and South Korea, led by the Panasqueira underground mine and Sangdong, which is producing while its plant ramps. Panasqueira sells tungsten, tin and copper concentrates; Sangdong produces scheelite tungsten concentrate. Los Santos in Spain is on care and maintenance, while Valtreixal in Spain, Gentung in Montana, the adjacent Sangdong molybdenum project and a planned tungsten oxide facility remain exploration or development activities.
Sells concentrates mainly through long-term supply agreements and shorter purchase orders, with Panasqueira serving the United States, Western Europe and Japan. Panasqueira provides technical know-how for the portfolio, while planned oxide processing would move the group downstream. Revenue remains concentrated at Panasqueira, and Sangdong is ramping under a long-term offtake arrangement. Operations depend on mining permits, surface access, tailings capacity, water, power, reclamation provisions and compliant downstream processing across the portfolio.
