American Woodmark makes kitchen, bath, office, home organization, and hardware products for U.S. remodeling and new-home construction. It sells through home centers, builders, independent dealers, and distributors, with turnkey installation services for direct builder customers.

American Woodmark Corporation is a Winchester, Virginia-based manufacturer and distributor of cabinetry and related home organization products. Its product range covers kitchen, bath, and office cabinetry, stock home organization items, hardware, and both made-to-order and stock configurations. The company serves U.S. repair-and-remodel and new-home construction demand through three main routes: national home centers, builders, and independent dealers and distributors.

Builder relationships are supported by regional service centers that provide turnkey installation, while manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States and Mexico help support national reach. The business is exposed to housing activity, large retail and builder relationships, raw-material costs, tariffs, and supply-chain timing. A proposed merger with MasterBrand remained pending in April 2026 and was subject to regulatory clearance and other closing conditions.
