Crescent Cap Advisors, a Crescent affiliate, manages the BDC. Crescent Capital BDC is the listed investment vehicle; Crescent is the external credit manager.
The model depends on the adviser’s origination capabilities and investment process. It also operates under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and elected regulated-investment-company tax treatment, which requires it to meet qualifying-asset, income, and diversification conditions.
