Provides UK rent guarantees and payment-flexibility services for tenants without a local guarantor, while an agreed sale leaves its legacy Australian oilseed-processing business in an unconfirmed disposal state.
Controls a majority interest in UK rent-guarantee and rent-payment-services provider RentBuddyUK, which serves tenants unable to provide a UK-based guarantor. The service pairs a professional rent guarantee with payment-flexibility tools, addressing international students, young professionals, self-employed people and expatriates.
Still owns Australian Oilseeds Investments and its subsidiaries pending confirmation of a sale agreed in July, which would dispose of the legacy oilseed-crushing, edible-oils and protein-meals business. The new business's economics depend on tenant underwriting, fee collection and meeting rent-guarantee obligations; its operating financials and claims record have not yet been disclosed.
