Casella Waste Systems, Inc.CWST
Industrials

Collects and disposes of solid waste across the eastern United States, linking local routes with transfer stations, landfills, recycling, organics, and Resource Solutions services. Collection provides most revenue, while acquisitions add route density and extend the regional operating footprint.

Runs vertically integrated collection, transfer, landfill, recycling, organics, and resource-management operations across the eastern United States. Eastern, Western, and Mid-Atlantic segments serve residential, commercial, municipal, institutional, and industrial customers; Resource Solutions adds materials processing, industrial recycling, organics, brokerage, and national-account services. Collection supplies most revenue, while transfer stations and landfills support route density and internal disposal.

Builds density through acquisitions and integrates acquired routes and volumes into regional facilities. Revenue comes from subscriptions and service agreements, municipal contracts, tipping fees, processing, and resource-management work. Operations depend on landfill capacity and permits, acquisition integration, fuel and recycling commodity prices, and compliance with environmental, zoning, public-health, and safety rules.
