Designs preclinical peptide-conjugate antivirals that seek to block shared viral entry machinery across respiratory and other enveloped viruses. Funds development through equity and grants, using IMP³ACT to pair computational design, synthesis, and testing while relying on external partners.
Develops peptide-conjugate Designable Multi-Antivirals that target shared viral fusion machinery across enveloped-virus families. The IMP³ACT platform combines computational structure and binding models, AI/ML-assisted optimization, rapid synthesis, and antiviral assays in a design-build-test-learn loop. Its lead DCOY-CoV program targets broad coronavirus prevention, while DCOY-TRI explores influenza, coronavirus, and RSV/paramyxovirus coverage; filovirus and arenavirus work is exploratory.
Operates from Houston with offices in Cambridge and laboratory space in Long Island City, relying on external manufacturers, CROs, laboratories, computational vendors, and hVIVO for development execution. With no approved products or sales, funding comes from equity financing and restricted grants. All D-MAV candidates remain preclinical, and progress depends on candidate selection, testing, manufacturing, regulatory acceptance, clinical development, and financing.
