Liberty Defense (DETX)

Builds walk-through security systems around active millimeter-wave imaging. HEXWAVE is a contactless portal that reconstructs real-time images and uses automatic threat-detection models to screen for concealed metallic and non-metallic items without requiring people to remove common belongings. Sales include equipment delivered and commissioned at customer sites, alongside software and algorithm-update subscriptions; Contract segment revenue comes from TSA and PNNL development programs.

Commercial activity is centered in the United States and North America, with deployments and orders across aviation-worker screening, corrections, government facilities and laboratories. Manufacturing HEXWAVE in Wilmington and working through direct customers, channel partners, installation and service partners are central to execution. The operating base depends on the HEXWAVE platform, government contract milestones, licensed MIT and Battelle/PNNL technology, component supply and, for HD-AIT checkpoint upgrades, TSA certification.
