Ekso Bionics provides wearable exoskeletons for neurorehabilitation, personal mobility after spinal cord injury, and industrial arm support. It is pursuing a business combination with Applied Digital Cloud that would rename the company ChronoScale if completed.
Ekso Bionics Holdings is a San Rafael, California company founded in 2005 that designs, develops and markets exoskeleton and complementary rehabilitation products. Its healthcare portfolio includes EksoNR for clinician-led gait training in spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury including stroke and traumatic brain injury, and multiple sclerosis; Ekso Indego Therapy for rehabilitation and wellness applications; and Ekso Indego Personal for home and community ambulation by eligible spinal cord injury users.
It also provides EksoCare service, support and training, distributes products through direct and partner channels, and offers EVO for upper-body industrial ergonomics. Recent filings say most sales still come from Enterprise Health clinical customers, while Personal Health depends on reimbursement partners and documentation. Ekso has agreed to combine with Applied Digital Cloud; closing depends on required approvals, financing, Nasdaq listing review and other conditions, after which the company expects to rename itself ChronoScale.
