Global Blue contributes tax-free shopping, dynamic currency conversion, and payment technology for retail brands, while Smartpay brings payment processing and POS distribution in Australia and New Zealand. The acquisitions broadened the company's technology and regional distribution.

Integrating acquired payment technology, merchant relationships, and regional distribution is part of the operating model.
