Sells generation equipment, wind turbines, grid hardware, storage systems, and software, then earns additional revenue by servicing installed fleets and executing long-cycle projects worldwide. Three segments span Power, Wind, and Electrification, with Prolec GE transformers now integrated into the grid portfolio.
Supplies equipment and services across Power, Wind, and Electrification, spanning gas, nuclear, and hydro generation; onshore and offshore wind turbines; and grid hardware, conversion, storage, and software. The portfolio serves utilities, independent generators, governments, and industrial customers worldwide.
Pairs equipment sales with long-term services across a large installed base and standardizes wind offerings around fewer workhorse turbines. Electrification now includes Prolec GE transformers alongside Power Transmission, Grid Systems Integration, Power Conversion & Storage, and Grid Automation & Software.
Execution depends on disciplined contract underwriting, manufacturing capacity, supply chains, and utility investment cycles. Wind remains tied to a concentrated U.S. onshore market and completion of the existing offshore backlog, while Power carries long-term service obligations and Electrification faces extended customer lead times.
