Produces crude oil, natural gas and NGLs from working interests in conventional South American fields and Western Canadian assets. Colombia supplies most sales, with oil production centered on the Middle Magdalena Valley and Putumayo Basin; Ecuador operates in the Oriente Basin, while Canadian properties yield crude oil, conventional and shale natural gas, and NGLs. Sales are recorded net of royalties and contractual deductions.
Operates Acordionero in Colombia alongside Costayaco, Moqueta and Cohembi, and uses enhanced-recovery techniques in remote, technically difficult reservoirs. Oil pricing in Colombia and Ecuador is generally tied to Brent with quality and transport adjustments; Canadian output references WTI, Mixed Sweet Blend and AECO. Operations depend on country-specific royalties, taxes, permits and approvals, local security and communities, transport infrastructure, and commodity benchmarks.
