Distributes dental and medical supplies, equipment and practice services while selling specialty clinical products and practice software. Revenue comes from product sales, equipment and service arrangements, and software licenses, subscriptions and related services; distribution and value-added services are the core business.

Supplies dental and medical practices, laboratories, alternate-care sites, and home-health providers with branded and corporate-brand merchandise, equipment, installation and repair. Its Global Distribution and Value-Added Services operation also provides financial, education, consulting and practice-transition support through field sales, telesales, e-commerce and direct marketing.

Manufactures and markets dental implants and biomaterials, endodontic and orthodontic products, and extremity orthopedics through businesses including BioHorizons, Camlog, EdgeEndo, FKG, Smilers, S.I.N. and TriMed. Practice-management, revenue-cycle and patient-engagement offerings span Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend and other systems. Medical distribution is predominantly U.S.-oriented, while dental, specialty and technology operations extend internationally. Operations depend on distribution systems, regulated products, third-party suppliers, protected health data and a Henry Schein One partnership with Internet Brands.
