Produces gold from Côté Gold and Westwood in Canada and Essakane in Burkina Faso, while advancing the Nelligan Mining Complex in Quebec. Revenue depends on gold prices and mine performance, with Côté operated through a joint venture.
Produces gold from three operating mines: the Côté Gold open pit in Ontario, the Westwood underground complex in Quebec and Essakane in Burkina Faso. The portfolio also includes the Nelligan Mining Complex, a Canadian exploration and development district assembled through recent acquisitions.
Executes mine construction and portfolio reshaping, most visibly through bringing Côté into commercial production after a long development program. Operations span Canada and West Africa, with the current asset base centered on Canadian mines and development projects.
Revenue and production depend on gold prices, throughput, ore grades, recovery, costs and capital needs. Côté is operated through a joint venture with Sumitomo Metal Mining; Westwood requires management of underground seismicity; and Essakane depends on security, logistics and Burkina Faso mining regulation.
