Develops the Kodiak Driver for long-haul and industrial trucking, with a separate defense application. Customer deployment programs prepare for a Driver-as-a-Service model, while customer-owned driverless trucks provide the commercial operating base.
Develops the Kodiak Driver, a virtual driver that combines AI-powered software with modular, vehicle-agnostic hardware for long-haul and industrial trucking. The platform is also adapted for U.S. Department of Defense applications.
Commercial deployment includes customer-owned, driverless trucks operated by Atlas Energy Solutions in the Permian Basin. The Partner Deployment Program prepares industrial and long-haul customers for a Driver-as-a-Service model.
Scaling depends on completing and validating a safety case for each operating environment, as well as maintaining hardware, manufacturing, and customer-partner relationships. A broad driverless long-haul launch was still under development in the latest disclosure.
