Tantech (TANH)

Produces and trades bamboo-charcoal products in China, chiefly through the Charcoal Doctor line of household purification, deodorization, and cleaning goods. The portfolio includes air-purification items, pillows, insoles, wardrobe and refrigerator deodorizers, plus bamboo-vinegar-based cleaners, disinfectants, soaps, fertilizer, and soil applications. Products are developed and made in Lishui, supplemented by purchased charcoal and finished goods, then sold mainly through third-party distributors.

Also operates an early-stage U.S. wholesale and trading business under Tanhome Group, covering timber and metal products, flooring, tile, cabinetry, fixtures, wall coverings, hardware, and structural components. China accounts for most sales and long-lived assets. Operations depend on distributor reach, charcoal supply around Lishui, competitive pricing, environmental permits, and PRC rules governing cash transfers from subsidiaries.
