TransDigm is a collection of businesses that make the small, safety-approved parts inside aircraft, not the aircraft themselves. New planes put its parts into service; years of replacement and repair orders are the richer engine. Power-and-control parts are pulling ahead as production recovers and recent purchases add sensors and approved alternatives.
