Spun out of Vishay Intertechnology in 2010, the company designs and manufactures precision sensors, weighing systems, and specialized measurement instruments rooted in Bulk Metal® foil-resistor technology — serving industrial, transportation, aerospace, and semiconductor end markets through a portfolio of niche brands.
Built on Bulk Metal® foil-resistor and strain-gage technology from 1962, the company operates three segments — Sensors, Weighing Solutions, and Measurement Systems — serving industrial, transportation, steel, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical end markets.
Sensors houses the Vishay Foil Resistors and Micro-Measurements brands. Weighing Solutions covers load cells, on-board truck weighing, and process-weighing systems under brands including BLH Nobel, Tedea-Huntleigh, and Vulcan. Measurement Systems delivers KELK rolling-mill gauges, the Gleeble® thermal-mechanical simulation platform, and DTS miniature data recorders at higher margins than the other two segments.
Manufacturing spans eleven countries; Israel facilities account for a meaningful share of worldwide production. The Zandman family holds Class B voting control, carrying over from the 2010 spin-off from Vishay Intertechnology.
