Produces LNG, pipeline gas, crude oil, condensate and ammonia through an Australian core and a broader international portfolio. North West Shelf and Pluto LNG anchor the business, while Sangomar adds Senegalese oil production and Louisiana LNG and Beaumont New Ammonia extend the US project base.
Growth has come through large infrastructure projects and acquisitions, especially the BHP Petroleum combination and the Tellurian and OCI transactions. Operations emphasize safety, reliability, efficiency and disciplined project execution, with marketing connecting production to customers.
Performance depends on safe and reliable operations, environmental approvals, construction delivery and demand for oil and LNG. Scarborough and Pluto Train 2 have faced environmental litigation, while shareholder votes have registered substantial opposition to Woodside's climate plans. The portfolio remains centered on hydrocarbons even as ammonia adds a newer business line.
