Revenue comes from moving truckload freight through Dedicated and One-Way fleets, supplemented by brokerage, freight management, intermodal and Final Mile services. Dedicated contracts anchor the operating mix following the FirstFleet acquisition, while the network remains exposed to North American freight demand, driver supply and transport regulation.
Moves truckload freight through two segments: Truckload Transportation Services and Werner Logistics. Truckload Transportation Services combines Dedicated fleets assigned to retail distribution centers and manufacturing sites with One-Way Truckload van, expedited, regional and temperature-controlled services. The FirstFleet acquisition expanded Dedicated operations, while One-Way also serves cross-border routes into Mexico.
Werner Logistics supplies truckload brokerage and freight management through contracted carriers, intermodal rail and drayage options, and Final Mile delivery for large or heavy goods. Operations span the contiguous United States, with service into Canada and Mexico. Modern equipment, telematics, driver training and safety systems support capacity planning and delivery execution.
A concentrated customer base, freight demand, driver availability, fuel recovery, safety performance and motor-carrier regulation shape utilization and costs.
