Generates revenue from solar power and Dutch biomethane assets through electricity, gas, subsidy, certificate, and contract-linked sales. Project companies develop and operate renewable infrastructure across Europe, Texas, and Israel with asset-specific market, regulatory, operating, and financing arrangements.
Owns, develops, and operates utility-scale solar plants, Dutch anaerobic-digestion and biomethane facilities, and the Manara pumped-storage project under construction. Its project-company model brings together project acquisition or origination, land and permits, grid access, EPC and operations contracts, and project-level financing, often with financial partners.
Operating assets span Spain, Italy, Texas, and the Netherlands, while Manara is in northern Israel. Solar revenue combines merchant electricity, PPAs or financial hedges, and regulated remuneration; Dutch facilities sell gas and electricity and earn subsidies and green certificates.
Output and project economics depend on weather and plant availability, feedstock supply and biological performance, electricity pricing and incentives, grid capacity, permits, contractors, and access to financing. Nofar's stake gives it significant influence over director elections and material shareholder matters.
