Builds sports cars, grand tourers, and limited-edition hypercars around V6, V8, and V12 engines, deliberately capping output near 13,752 cars a year and allocating them by a buyer's history with the brand. Races every Formula 1 season since 1950 as Scuderia Ferrari, folding sponsorship and racing income into the same revenue as car sales.
Traces back to a 1939 Modena workshop and grew into a Maranello-based builder of sports cars, grand tourers, and limited-edition hypercars, running V6, V8, and V12 engines alongside a growing hybrid range, with a four-door model and a first fully electric model extending the lineup.
Output stays deliberately below demand — 13,752 cars in 2024 — allocated through a selection process weighing a buyer's history with the brand above simply placing an order.
Racing under the Scuderia Ferrari name in Formula 1 every season since 1950 keeps commercial and sponsorship income tied to the same business as car sales. Listed in 2015 after separating from Fiat Chrysler, the company remains controlled by the Agnelli family's holding company and the founder's son, and reports results in euros as a Dutch-domiciled filer.
