BOCOM International Holdings Company Limited
BOCOM International is the Hong Kong-listed securities arm of Bank of Communications, providing brokerage, margin financing, corporate finance and underwriting, asset management and research; its analysts cover Hong Kong, mainland Chinese and U.S.-listed Chinese companies.
Company history
The company was incorporated in Hong Kong on 3 June 1998 as Communications Securities Co., Ltd. and took the name BOCOM International Holdings in May 2007, when Bank of Communications restructured its Hong Kong securities business. It listed on the HKEX Main Board on 19 May 2017, raising about HK$1.97 billion including the over-allotment, and became the first Chinese bank-owned brokerage listed in Hong Kong. Bank of Communications holds about 73% of its shares.
