Company history
David Coker founded Coker & Palmer, Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1991 as a securities brokerage and investment advisory firm. Coker Palmer Institutional was formed in June 2015 as a standalone institutional research, sales and trading division. In July 2026 the Coker & Palmer team, with about US$650 million in client assets, joined Boston-based Moors & Cabot, and the broker-dealer requested termination of its registration.
