Provides indirect auto financing through dealer partnerships, using Portfolio and Purchase Programs for consumers with impaired or limited credit histories. Finance charges from loan assignments and servicing are the main revenue source, while dealer relationships and collection forecasts shape the model.
Dealer-originated consumer loans are assigned for administration, servicing and collection. Under the Portfolio Program, funds are advanced to dealers while the underlying loans are serviced; under the Purchase Program, the loans are bought and collections are retained. Most assigned loans involve consumers with impaired or limited credit histories.
Finance charges, including interest income and program fees, are the main revenue source, supplemented by ancillary-product and remarketing activities. Dealer partnerships support loan assignments, and cash-flow forecasting estimates future collections when loans are assigned.
Dealer relationships, loan-performance forecasts and consumer-finance laws shape operations. The company is subject to CFPB supervision and expects state and federal regulatory investigations to continue.
