Manufactures Legacy-brand homes and tiny houses, sells through independent dealers, company stores, and direct community channels, and earns financing income from dealers, buyers, and manufactured-home communities. Operations are concentrated in the southern United States, with one reportable segment and a recent shift back toward core manufacturing.
Builds Legacy-brand manufactured homes and tiny houses, then sells them through independent retailers, company-owned Heritage Housing stores, Tiny House Outlet, AmeriCasa, and direct manufactured-home-community channels. The factories are in Texas and Georgia, while sales are concentrated in the southern United States.
Pairs product sales with financing for dealers, consumers, and community owners, so the loan book and distribution network are central to how homes move through the system. AmeriCasa adds another retail and service channel without changing the one-segment structure.
Execution depends on factory output, dealer demand, community-owner purchases, credit performance, and public-company control remediation. Recent leadership changes returned co-founder Kenneth E. Shipley to the interim CEO role and put renewed emphasis on core manufacturing.
