Servicing is the center of the business, supported by forward originations, MSR purchases, and co-issue channels. The company runs a regulated non-bank mortgage platform with international operations and is moving reverse mortgages toward subservicing after the Finance of America Reverse transaction.
Servicing is the core business, combining owned mortgage servicing rights, subservicing, and special servicing for mortgage investors and other counterparties. Originations adds forward loans through correspondent, consumer-direct, MSR-purchase, co-issue, and related channels, with reverse mortgage activity shifting toward subservicing through Finance of America Reverse.
Operations are centered in the United States but supported by teams in India and the Philippines. The platform relies on Onity Mortgage, the renamed PHH Mortgage business, while Liberty Reverse Mortgage remains part of the reverse-mortgage history.
Execution depends on keeping servicing portfolios replenished, managing loan delinquencies and prepayments, financing servicing advances, and complying with CFPB, HUD/FHA, Ginnie Mae, GSE, and state mortgage-servicing rules.
