Marriott Vacations Worldwide CorporationVAC
Consumer Discretionary

Sells and finances vacation ownership, then earns recurring fees from resort management, rentals and owner exchanges. Most revenue comes from Vacation Ownership; Interval International and Aqua-Aston add exchange memberships and third-party property management, while Marriott and Hyatt licenses underpin the brand portfolio.

Develops, markets, sells, finances and manages vacation ownership under Marriott Vacation Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, Hyatt Vacation Club, Grand Residences by Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton Club. Most sales use flexible points programs. Resorts span the United States, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Earns from ownership sales, consumer lending, resort management, rentals and program fees. Interval International provides vacation exchanges and travel services; Aqua-Aston manages hotels and resorts for third parties. Integrated development, marketing, sales, exchange and resort operations support operating efficiencies and recurring fee income.

Relies on long-term Marriott International and Hyatt licenses for core brands and loyalty-program access. Most buyer loans are securitized, tying funding to asset-backed credit markets; sales, lending and resort management also face extensive real-estate, consumer-finance and hospitality regulation.
