Company history
Steven Fox, a sell-side technology analyst with about 25 years at firms including Merrill Lynch, CLSA and Cross Research, launched Fox Advisors in April 2020. The same month it joined Analyst Hub, a platform that gives independent analysts sales, marketing and back-office infrastructure. It continues to distribute its research through Analyst Hub.

Fox Advisors follows companies in electronic components, manufacturing services, automotive technology, transportation-as-a-service networks and storage hardware, using bottom-up supply-chain analysis, trade-show checks and alternative data. It publishes explicit calls on three ratings: Outperform (price expected to rise 15% or more over 12 months), Equal-Weight (move of less than 15%) and Underperform (decline of 15% or more).
