Retail banking centers on a 15-state footprint, while institutional lending and capital-markets services reach clients nationally.
Operates Consumer Bank and Commercial Bank through KeyBank. Consumer Bank combines deposits, cards, mortgages, home-equity and other lending with small-business banking, wealth management and digital services across a 15-state branch footprint. Commercial Bank serves middle-market, large corporate and institutional clients with lending, cash management, equipment finance and commercial real estate financing and servicing.
Extends the commercial franchise nationally through KeyBanc Capital Markets, whose work includes syndicated finance, underwriting, trading, derivatives, foreign exchange, public finance and M&A advice. Relationship deposits fund most bank operations, while wealth management, commercial payments and investment banking add fee income beyond lending. Results remain tied to deposit retention and pricing, borrower credit, interest rates, liquidity and capital requirements, and federal and state bank regulation.
