Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc.SPB
Consumer Staples

Sells branded pet and aquatics supplies, pest controls, repellents, surface care, small appliances and personal-care devices through retail and online channels worldwide. Three segments remain consolidated, though a minority Oaktree investment has moved Home & Personal Care toward separation from the pet and home-and-garden businesses.

Operates three branded home-essentials businesses: Global Pet Care sells companion-animal supplies, pet food and aquatics products; Home & Garden covers pest controls, repellents and surface care; and Home & Personal Care offers small appliances, shaving, grooming and hair-care devices. Products reach consumers through major retailers, pet specialists, home-improvement stores, e-commerce and distributors across North America and international markets.

Builds demand through owned brands such as Tetra, FURminator, Spectracide, Cutter, Remington and Russell Hobbs, alongside licensed appliance names. Product development, brand marketing and retail distribution are the operating model. A recent Oaktree investment left the parent with a controlling interest in Home & Personal Care while advancing its separation. Results depend on concentrated retail customers, third-party manufacturing in Asia-Pacific, licensed trademarks, tariffs and weather-sensitive garden demand.
