BWG Global is a Cranford, New Jersey-based primary research firm serving institutional investors and corporations, formed from BWG Strategy and OTR Global. It is known for moderated expert forums and channel checks that grade companies' business conditions Positive, Mixed or Negative.
Company history
Bill Williams founded BWG Strategy in New York City in 2013 around moderated roundtable discussions among industry practitioners. Private equity firm Infinedi Partners took control in January 2021, and in March 2023 BWG bought OTR Global, founded in San Francisco in 1995 as Off The Record Research and a pioneer of interview-based channel research. The combined company renamed itself BWG Global in February 2025.

Products include forum synopses, channel intelligence reports, market insight surveys and custom research. Its OTR channel checks characterize business conditions as Positive, Mixed or Negative; the firm states these are neither ratings nor buy, hold or sell recommendations.
