Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co. was established in New York in 1964 and has also operated as Monness, Williams, Crespi & Co., Inc. Neil Crespi is president and Andrew Monness chairman, and the firm clears through RBC Clearing & Custody. In 2014 it paid a $150,000 civil penalty to settle SEC charges that it failed to maintain policies preventing misuse of material nonpublic information.
