Pairs a broad U.S. deposit franchise with specialized lending, advisory, and markets capabilities, serving most customers domestically while supporting corporate and institutional clients globally. This mix produces both interest income from lending and investing customer deposits and fees from payments, investment banking, brokerage, and asset-based services.
Earnings and balance-sheet capacity remain sensitive to interest rates, loan demand, borrower credit, deposit funding, and market activity. Operations are subject to bank capital, liquidity, consumer-protection, and risk-management requirements.
